References to specific TSDF operators (Clean Harbors, Veolia, Heritage Thermal Services, US Ecology, Chemical Waste Management, Tradebe, and others) and their facilities are based on publicly available information. These references do not imply any formal commercial relationship, partnership, or agreement between Colmez and any named operator. Facility capacity figures, permit status, and related data are approximate and may not reflect current conditions.
8. Environmental Compliance
Hazardous waste disposal is subject to extensive regulation under RCRA, TSCA, and applicable state laws. Colmez does not provide environmental compliance advice. All parties using the platform (when launched) will be responsible for ensuring their activities comply with all applicable environmental laws and regulations. Nothing in our platform or contracts relieves any party of their independent legal obligations as a waste generator, transporter, or facility operator.
9. Conflicts of Interest
Colmez may have financial interests that differ from those of platform users. As a marketplace operator, we earn fees from successful transactions. This creates an inherent incentive to encourage activity on the platform. Users should be aware of this potential conflict when evaluating information or recommendations from Colmez.
